Anything that can grip me in the first chapter, I'll read. To grip me it has to have life. To have life it has to have a pulse, (good timing or cadence) breath, (good writing) and have a soul, (engaging plot).

Movies are for people who aren't brave enough to star in their own. Actors are people who failed at life and choose to make believe what they do has meaning.

Working with wood, writing, reading, working on my car, petting my cat, dogs and wife, Kendra, starring off into the distance with a blank look on my chubby little face, dreaming about all kinds of good things like my dogs, cats and acres of pastures with cows, horses and sheep...

I wish I had more time to laugh, chop wood, work in the yard, go for walks, play with my animals, wife, visit my neighbors, read good books and write more stories about my family.
